Shame on ME for not keeping this thing up to snuff, as they say. Here's a few updates for anyone that's interested:
*Started a new job at my current place of employment. I'll be making a lot more money and hopefully I'll settle into my own place within the next coming months (I've heard fall is ideal moving weather.) It's a pretty hectic, fast-paced job and there's people working under me that directly report to yours truly. Lot's of potential stress but you take the good with the bad, right?
*It's Alive is taking advantage of the mild summer we're having in the Northeast by starting work on some new songs and continually refining some older ones that didn't show up on the demo. Hopefully sooner than later we'll start "pre-production" on this record and begin tracking and laying the songs out at Derrick's place. I cant wait for that, chillin in his tight crib watching dvds, playing xbox, and hanging with Colby while we hammer out It's Alive's illest shit yet.
*I'm on a low-carb diet for the foreseeable future (call me gay). It worked for me back in high school were a shed 40lbs on it in 6 months (with the help of some guy called Puberty). So far I'm not shedding as hard as I did when I was 16 but my goal is much more attainable this time around. Plus, I'm only about 10 days in and I already feel better at practice so it's gonna be alright.
* As I said, this summer has been exceptionally mild. I guess I don't mind it though. It's nice and I'm still looking forwards to autumn despite it being 50 degrees when I woke up this morning
*Possibly even gayer than my buffet addict diet approach is my late pass sweating of Apple. The iPod will forever be the greatest invention of the past 20 years for me. But since I made the leap into OS X land with the iMac, you KNOW I had to go iPhone as well. I'm all apple, all loving it.
Peace.
